ARBOR edge AI HPC hardware for manufacturing

Taiwanese industrial IoT provider ARBOR Technology is launching new industrial and medical edge AI and rugged computing hardware in April. The company’s new products include high-performance hardware designed to process data at the edge of industrial and clinical networks.
The company will debut the AEC-8000, an industrial supercomputer utilising the NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture. The system is capable of 2070 FP4 TFLOPS and is designed to process more than 64 high-definition video streams simultaneously for real-time analytics.
Other hardware includes:
- Ruby 10 rugged tablet: Features integrated NFC and EMVCo certification for secure mobile payments and enterprise management.
- ART10-ECA tablet: A Windows-based platform for real-time data visualisation and integration with ERP systems.
- EdgeX-6000: A clinical-grade platform powered by AMD EPYC Embedded 8004 processors with up to 64 cores for medical diagnostics.
Ivan Huang, Vice President of APAC at ARBOR Technology, stated the company’s mission is to provide tools that allow manufacturers to transform raw data into immediate operational results. The hardware is designed to withstand industrial environments, featuring IP65-rated seals and drop resistance.
