Glucose tracking could now become accessible to millions of health-conscious adults with the roll out of Ultrahuman’s category-defining metabolic health platform, M2 Live in the U.S.

M2 Live is among the first platforms to integrate glucose data from Lingo, Abbott’s over-the-counter continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for adults 18 years and older. It is designed for people not on insulin but who are interested in improving their overall health and wellness–including those with diabetes.

M2 Live is designed to remove the barriers that have long kept metabolic health out of reach for many in the U.S. No prescription is required and the sensors start at $99/month on a subscription basis. A single sensor is $129.

Ultrahuman create a new category of metabolic health monitoring in 2021 when it brought CGM to people without diabetes. M1 Live’s clinically validated metabolic score was built on one of the largest real-world, free-living sleep and metabolism datasets assembled, according to the company.

Now, the company touts M2 as one of the most affordable wearable metabolic health platforms in the U.S.

The body regulates glucose through sleep, stress, activity, and recovery–but unlike other metabolic health platforms, M2 Live doesn’t look at glucose in isolation, Ultrahuman said.
