Silex Technology and Edge Impulse are collaborating to accelerate deployment of edge AI in the medical sectors. The partnership focuses on enabling advanced AI solutions on Silex’s EP-200Q System-on-Module, powered by Qualcomm technology.

The joint effort targets applications such as virtual nursing systems, remote patient monitoring, and vision-guided robotics.

By combining Silex’s hardware with Edge Impulse’s development platform, the companies aim to provide a streamlined path from AI model development to real-world clinical deployment.

The EP-200Q System-on-Module features high-performance CPU and GPU capabilities with dedicated AI acceleration. It includes a validated Wi-Fi 7 driver for the SX-PCEBE module. The platform is designed for vision-guided robotics, virtual nursing systems, and remote patient monitoring. The integration with Edge Impulse provides an end-to-end MLOps platform for developing and deploying AI models in production-grade environments.
