Amazfit has updated its firmware so its smart wearables can sync activity data with Adidas Running.

Amazfit is a smart wearables brand owned by Chinese health technology company Zepp Health. It has released the Zepp App firmware update version 7.1.0 that integrates support for the Adidas Running app, allowing Amazfit’s recently-launched GTR 4 and GTS 4 smartwatches sync activity data to Adidas Running.

Users can instantly check sports performance data on their GTR 4 and GTS 4, which will be synced to the Zepp App upon completion of their workout. From there, and once their Zepp App account and Adidas Running account are connected, users will be able to share sports data such as distance, duration, speed, and start and end times to the Adidas Running community.

The GTR 4 and GTS 4 are built for users who lead an active, fitness-focused lifestyle. Equipped with more than 150 sports modes, both sports smartwatches can automatically recognise eight sports, as well as supporting a track run mode to display professional lap running data.

The GTR 4 and GTS 4 provide accurate positioning and movement tracking, thanks to a dual-band circularly-polarised GPS antenna built into both smartwatches. Additionally, the mini app ecosystem available to users has been enriched with more apps, including the fitness-themed Weight Records and Calorie Intake Record apps to help facilitate a comprehensive approach to health and fitness from the wrist. More mini apps are planned soon.

Amazfit is powered by Zepp Health’s proprietary health management platform that delivers cloud-based round-the-clock actionable insights and guidance to help users attain their wellness goals.

Launched in 2015, Amazfit is has millions of users. Its products are available in more than 90 countries across the Americas, Emea and Apac regions.
