Closing the Edge AI Gap: From Model Training to Real-World Deployment

Industrial teams continue to face challenges when moving from AI model development to real-world deployment at the edge. From training and optimizing models to deploying them across different hardware accelerators, the process can slow time to market and increase system complexity. At the same time, traditional inspection systems often rely on expensive, centralized computing that limits scalability and flexibility.

Satellite 5G Lands on Earth, Allows Ubiquitous Next-Gen Coverage

The integration of 5G’s New Radio (NR) technology with 3GPP satellite connectivity allows for the elimination of specialized satellite modems in standard 5G devices – a big deal for handsets but perhaps an even bigger deal for the IoT. Direct-to-Device Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) means that standard chipsets can talk to satellites, with huge implications for markets like maritime, mining, logistics, remote infrastructure, and more.

Agentic AI Reaches the IoT Edge with Easy-to-Use Options

AI workloads are moving from the cloud to gateways, routers, and other edge devices – it’s about more than reducing bandwidth – new AI models are having major impact on retail, manufacturing, healthcare, smart buildings, and logistics markets. New standardized edge stack and “AI App Stores” are making adoption easy. This session will focus on the newest use-cases for AI at the edge.
