About the Committee
The IMC Cybersecurity Committee is an industry advisory body established to guide IMC’s cybersecurity initiatives. The Committee brings senior industry expertise to IMC’s programs, tools, and publications, ensuring they reflect real-world operational needs across manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and ecosystem partners in the connected device market. Members contribute expertise across cybersecurity engineering, product security, compliance and regulatory affairs, open-source ecosystems, and standards development.

“Z” serves as Chair of the IMC Cybersecurity Committee. As Founder, CTO Emeritus, and Chief Evangelist at Aeris Communications, one of the earliest and most established companies in the cellular IoT and M2M connectivity space, “Z” brings extensive experience at the intersection of IoT technology, wireless connectivity, and enterprise product deployment. His career has provided a direct view of the technical and operational challenges the connected device ecosystem faces.
