Thanks to her technical background, Carmen actively supports customers in their design development of wireless devices to enhance connectivity in different applications like automotive, Wi-Fi or IoT. As Director of Global Marketing, she is responsible for the implementation and management of strategic projects and programs worldwide as well as the roadmap of new products and tools to fulfill customer needs ahead.

Larry Tichavsky leads IoT technical initiatives for the Americas at Vodafone IoT. With over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Larry provides strategic guidance to global customers deploying connectivity at scale. Larry is a driving force behind digital transformation leveraging IoT connectivity to unlock innovation across industries such as automotive, smart cities, transportation and logistics, and healthcare.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles in leading organizations including Sprint, IBM, Lockheed, Loral, and Nortel Networks. His passion lies in helping create solutions that drive digital transformation at organizations, create new revenue streams, products and business models.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, where he graduated from the top-ranked Management Information Systems program. He is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Being part of A1 Telekom Austria Group, which in turn belongs to América Móvil, the company can rely on the mature infrastructure of one of the world’s largest mobile network operators.

Thomas is also the co-founder and inventor of an award-winning IoT wearable. Over the past fifteen years, he has held various management positions in the telecommunications industry, developed strong industry relationships across the DACH and CEE region as well as the USA and the UAE and supported innovative start-ups and scale-ups.

Syed Zaeem Hosain

He joined Aeris in 1996 as Vice President, Engineering and is a member of the founding executive team of Aeris. Mr. Hosain has more than 38 years of experience in the semiconductor, computer, and telecommunications industries, including product development, architecture design, and technical management. Prior to joining Aeris, he held senior engineering and management positions at Analog Devices, Cypress Semiconductor, CAD National, and ESS Technology. Mr. Hosain is Chairman of the International Forum on ANSI‐41 Standards Technology (IFAST) and Chairman Emeritus of the IoT M2M Council (IMC). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA.

As Chief Technology Officer, Ajay Joseph is responsible for the technical strategy and engineering of the iBasis global network and underlying systems. His leadership over more than a decade has been instrumental in iBasis’ growth from a start-up to one of the largest international carriers in the world. Mr. Keever has over 18 years of plant floor automation experience with IBM, and is the former world-wide development and support manager for Automation Connection, Distributed Applications Environment, PlantWorks and Data Collection hardware and software products. He served as lead marketing and solutions architecture at IBM, where he was responsible for General Motors, BMW, Chrysler, Tokyo Electron, Glaxo-Wellcome, and numerous other global manufacturing companies.
